The curriculum features rotations in relevant primary care areas with exposure to all subspecialty areas. Rotations in-house and at affiliated hospitals provide wide experience in general gynecological surgery as well as advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic training Residents are required to complete one research project during their four years, which will be entered in the Chicago Gynecological Society Resident Research Competition, where Mercy residents have traditionally received top honors Mercy also offers rotation programs for third-year medical students from two area university medical schools. This gives our residents an opportunity to teach, supervise, and provide guidance in their specialty. |
