Located in Chicago’s near south side, Mercy combines the advanced capabilities of a major urban medical center with the humanistic focus of a community hospital. Residents here are exposed to a diverse and challenging clinical setting, a vigorous academic program, and an exceptionally dedicated and supportive teaching faculty.

In keeping with its mission to serve, Mercy has strong ties to several community health centers. Our patient demographic is both ethnically and economically diverse. We offer a unique opportunity to become exposed to and involved with community health.
